SWAT Trot... and other slightly insane things

Hello people of Earth. I come in peace as long as you give me all of your water. Okay that's not true, but I need water! It's crazy hot and not even summer yet! I haven't written in almost a year (Not like anyone reads this. It's really only an experiment of sorts.) This is more of a diary, but public, so I'm not going to put super weird things in, just plain old weird. Today we had a fun run called SWAT Trot. The adults ran 3 miles and the kids ran a 1/2 of a mile. I ran the half, since I watched my siblings while mi madre y mi padre ran the 3 miles. My dad took the youngest, ages 8 months and 3 years in the stroller. He came in before my mom!
We had some friends there too. After the running, we got food, ice-cream and cake (i.e. hot dogs, chips, fruit, soda, and not-so-mini Kemp's ice-cream tubs). There were demonstrations from the SWAT team and we got to go in a firetruck, police truck, (yes, it was a truck) and the Bomb disarming squad. They had robots! And dogs! And cool stuff! And, and... Yeah. It was fun and went from 8-11 something. We had to get up at six. IT WAS WORTH IT. Sigh. To lazy to take the caps off of that last sentence. Hope your having a good weekend!
P.S.
Minnesota broke a 101 year old record of 91 degrees Fahrenheit. We got to 92. yesterday. NOT FUN.
Bye!
